Speed Writing: Last Day of Class
I know I said I prolly wasn't going to blog until my exams are over, but I just had to post something to commemorate today. So here I am, & to make sure I don't waste too much time over this, I'm just gonna do a simple 'Speed Writing' post. For those of you who don't know what speed writing is, basically, you set a certain duration of time (usually 5-10 mins), & for that duration of time, you've to write continuously (no stopping!) about anything & everything that comes to mind. & once your set duration of time is over, you just stop, no matter what you're writing. Simple enough ;)
So here goes, my 10-minute speed writing post!
It was my last day of class today! To think that I'm sort of done with the first year of university, if you exclude the upcoming exams, that is. It's hard to believe that 8 months have passed. It seems like just yesterday that I had my first taste of Med School. HaDPop (hate at first sight.) & meeting Group 15. Our first meeting was so awkward, and I'm so glad that things have changed loads since then. I cannot even begin to express how glad I am that I'm in Group 15. T, Lynn, Neil, Peter, Farihah, Sarah- they're such amazing people & we're so much closer now than we were before! Back then, group work was really group work. Now, group work is snack time + catch up + story time + basically wasting time hahahah. Which isn't exactly a good thing, but we still get work done! :P Apart from Group 15, I've gotten closer to the Malaysian bunch as well, & I really don't know what I'd do without them. Their immaturity & siao-ness just makes me feel like home isn't that far away. & yeah, to think that I've survived 8 months here on my own. Without my parents, without the mafias. I'd never have thought I'd make it this far. Sure, I do get homesick from time to time (quite often, actually.) , & as emotional as I get when it hits (note previous post, #20), I've learnt not to dwell on it. Besides, I'LL BE HOME IN 5 WEEKS. 5 WEEKS OHMYGOSH. I can't -
& that's 10 minutes! I never know how to end posts.

25 Random Facts About Moi ;)
Here's an attempt to keep this blog (relatively) alive. Picked from the top of my head (not really), here's a list of the 25 most random, weird (& hopefully interesting) facts about myself!
1. I can't sleep without snuggling under a blanket. Even if it's warm, I'll still need a blanket.
2. I tiptoe even when I don't really have to. (Thank you Eugene for pointing this out to me!)
3. I have a habit of skipping while running- I can never run without breaking into a skip midway.
4. While other people find certain facial features attractive (not that I don't), I have a thing for hands. Sexy hands, ohmyyyyy. & yes, hands can be sexy.
5. I find it really difficult to listen to music & not sing along. Which is why I end up singing along to whatever song I'm listening to, sometimes without even realising it. Boy, has that gotten me my fair share of weird looks on the bus.
6. Here's a big one: I'm four feet eleven. Mmhmm. Not even five feet *sobs*
7. I've been in a love pentagon (or was it a hexagon?) before. Heheheh.
8. I really, REALLY like kids. To the point where my friends joke that even if I don't manage to find a husband, I'll get a sperm donor just so I can have kids of my own.
9. I have a birthmark on my lower back.
10. I rather sleep with the fan at full speed rather than with airconditioning because I tend to fall sick after sleeping in airconditioned rooms.
11. I find it really hard to study in public places because I end up people-watching instead.
12. Back in high school & college, I used to do this thing which I'd like to call 'Productive Procrastination'. Because I liked Maths, I used to do Maths questions when I didn't want to study other subjects.
13. I fractured my right ankle in 2008, and as a result, my left foot is bigger than my right. #problembuyingshoes
14. I was supposed to be born on my parents' anniversary, but because I was impatient, that didn't happen.
15. I haven't had my first kiss, heh. & I'm actually quite proud of that, heheh.
16. I get attached to people really quickly.
17. I don't like the colour pink, but for some odd reason, I have a quite a number of pink clothes.
18. Let's make this clear. I love ice cream, and I'd have it, no matter the weather.
19. I sleep-talk quite a bit.
20. I used to be quite emotional & was quite the crybaby. Most of my classmates in high school have probably seen me in tears at one time or another.
21. One of the things I really want to do is to go to a beach someday, & just lie down & watch the stars. & maybe fall asleep under the night sky.
22. I think forehead kisses are adorable!
23. There's this yoga position called chakrasana, & I can actually do it! :D
24. I'm pretty sure people know this already, but I have a really high-pitched voice, apparently. I once called up my tuition teacher & she thought I was one of her primary school students.
25. This is my bias in Exo, Sehun! :P
