Singapore Trip '14, Part 3: 4th August :)

In our sleeping arrangement, I slept between Evo & Lynn. During the night, I woke up to find those two asleep facing me, legs bent & knees pointing into my personal space -______- Tried to sleep as straight as possible after that, which for me is quite impossible. Those two ah, terrible gr.

Woke up super early because we had to pack, check out & head to Universal Studios asap.

Finally arrived at Universal Studios! :)

First stop: Revenge of the Mummy! :O :O I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to rollercoaster rides, so I screamed the ride awaaaaaaaay. Thankfully Lynn's screaming kinda covered mine HAHAHAHA. 

Good job Evo. Also, note the guy beside Lynn- he'd be the source of many memes in the upcoming days :P

Wanted to go for the Transformers ride after that, but the queue was too long. So we went for the teacup ride instead heh heh. KFung apparently *promised* Lynn that he wouldn't spin it too much, but I wasn't making any promises ;) I was gonna do to them what Jab did to me when we went for the teacup ride in Sunway Lagoon :P

Pre-ride! 

During the ride, KFung & I tried our best to spin it as fast as we could, but it was hard cuz the spinner thingy was quite stiff meh :( plan foiled :( Lynn was shrieking the whole time, and we were all screaming & laughing & we were the loudest bunch there. People were staring at us & laughing, & there was one guy hi actually took pictures of us HAHAHAHA #retards 

Dude: Are you two together?

Everyone: HAHAHAHAHAHA NO

Dude: Alright, come on in then. *pulls Lynn closer*

Afterwards, we went for the Jurassic Park ride. Got stuck in the queue, sighhhh. It was raining the whole time too, so the ride kept getting halted- which was terrible because we didn't want to have queued for nothing -_____- 

It was a wet-ish ride btw, so Lynn & Jannah decided to buy raincoats. KFung, Evo & I (which coincidentally, are the strong peepoz of the group) decided to brave it & try our luck. We got so bored while waiting, so KFung started off with mind games, the first being his 'open close' game. I got it within a few attempts but Evo .. heh heh.

After waiting for what seemed like forever, we finally got on our ride. I really, really like water rides so I had loads of fun ;) Oh oh & there was this part where we were lifted up out of nowhere, & KFung's face then priceless :'D On another note, we avoided getting drenched heh heh :D the 3 Korean girls who were with us weren't so lucky, however :P 

Just as we walked out, this truck with a T-Rex at the back drove out. Then it stopped, & a guy came up to Lynn & yelled that for pictures, people would have to queue up. Right behind Lynn. Lucky us heh heh ;) 

Just as we turned our backs towards the truck, the T-Rex let out a roar which shocked the crap out of us heh. If only our photographer had managed to catch that moment, oh well.

Was supposed go for lunch cuz we were starving, but of course, we got distracted.

After lunch, we went to watch Shrek in 4D & afterwards, we spent some time taking pictures while waiting for the parade to start so we could go for the Transformers ride without having such a long queue.

Left for the Transformers ride after that. Luckily we managed to escape the crowd heh heh :D 

Everyone else loved the ride but I didn't fancy it that much :S Prolly cuz I got quite nauseous after that meh. 

Spent the next hour or so just photoshoot-ing/ attempting hipster pictures! :D

Headed to the MRT station, where we had to split up with KFung. It was slightly emotional, but since KFung promised me he'd come back before I left, I was okay, thank goodness. Took the MRT to the airport & we were so exhausted, Jannah sat on her luggage & at one point, I sat on the floor :S 

Once at the airport, we had dinner at a kopitiam. Time flew without us realising it, and by the time we finished eating, we were already behind schedule. To make matters worse, I spilled teh tarik all over myself :( We had to rush to clean up, and after that, when we saw the screen displaying flight statuses, ours read 'gate closing'. So we did what anyone would have done in that situation- we panicked & sprinted all the way across the airport. While running, I caught another glance at the screen & this time, it read 'gate closed', so we sprinted even harder. Arrived at our gate, and turns out it was still open -________- we had to wait approx 15 minutes to board the plane somemore. Panic for no reason -______- 

Finally boarded the plane & headed home!

The flight back was smooth all the way, & the landing- it couldn't be any more different from the landing we had when we arrived in Changi. It was so smooth that Evo didn't even notice the plane landed. She slept through it hahahah. 

That's basically our trip, but even leaving KLIA was eventful hahaha. On the aerotrain, I noticed this guy- he was on the MRT with us on the way to Changi, we bumped into him at the airport, and now here he was at KLIA. I signalled to the girls & of course, Lynn had to embarass herself by staring at him. & just as she did, he turned. & she gave him a super awkward smile HAHAHA. & the 3 of us just couldn't help ourselves, we burst out laughing. It was so awkward omg. 

Sent Evo back to Cyber, then Pak Ajit sent us all home. & that concludes our Singapore trip!

Singapore Trip '14, Part 2: 3rd August :)

Lynn, Evo & I woke up super late, at about 11am? Jannah woke up waaaaay earlier, and she prolly spent the next few hours judging us for being such lazy pigs. In our defense, we were all terribly exhausted from the previous days' adventures. Luckily, we didn't have much planned for the day so we weren't behind schedule or anything of the sort. The vague plan we had was that I was going to spend one-on-one time with KFung, Jannah was going to meet a friend, & Lynn & Evo were going to apparently, go bungee jumping or something of the sort. In the end, Evo & Lynn decided to just join me & KFung heh. Jannah followed us as well in the beginning, cuz her meetup was slightly later in the afternoon.

As we were already late, we had to postpone the arranged meetup time & even then, we dawdled *blames Evo* heh. After that, we took the MRT to Tiong Bahru. 

Lynn was either about to sneeze or was yawning. Either way, she looks so fab ;)

Oh & I did something really stupid at the station heh heh. Once we arrived, we were in a dilemma of which exit we should wait for KFung at, cuz the MRT stations have several exits. As we were discussing (on the elevator), I saw KFung & chased after him #noshame . I couldn't catch up with him tho. Then he went through the gates & I sudden-braked. Crap. I caused this huge jam/commotion cuz I was fiddling with my bag, trying to search for my MRT card & people glared at me :( Dahla desperately ran all the way #sien. Anywaaaays, managed to catch KFung after that & we headed to Tiong Bahru hawker centre for lunch! Walked under the scorching heat & it took us a while before we finally found it.

I'd read good reviews of the food there, so we split up to queue for food. Thank God we did that cuz the queues were insaaaane.  

Siew yuk fan, roasted duck, roasted chicken rice, popiah, lo bak ko, lemon chicken rice, fishball noodles, soya bean & cincau! :D #yum

Food was good & I especially enjoyed the roasted duck & fishball noodles! :) Oh & Jannah left to meet with her friend, so it was just us. 

We wanted to grab waffles for dessert, but by then we were pretty full so that didn't happen. Also, Evo wanted to experience going to a bar, so we decided to go see the Merlion statue then search for bars around that area.

Afterwards, it was fat luck looking for a bar which was open heh. It was still so early, like 3pm -____- The only bar that was open wasn't exactly suited to us as well, so we bought popsicles & took over the seats at one of the unopened restaurants. Chit-chatted, took tons of pics, & made a lot of slow mo hairflip videos (most belong to Evo)! :D

This was when KF & I pretended to be selfie-ing on the monopod when in faaaaact, we were doing this :P

Headed to Clarke Quay afterwards, but being us, we stopped here & there along the way to take pictures & well, take more slow mo videos, this time of jumpshots.

Arrived at Clarke Quay where we saw these 2 people, blindfolding their friend for a birthday surprise. Being kepoh, we followed them & it turns out, they were bringing her for the GX5 extreme swing- which was exactly what Evo & Lynn wanted to try out. While they were contemplating whether to go for it or not, we went to the bar nearby. KFung & I both ordered drinks, & I thought I would share mine with Lynn & Evo (especially Evo cuz she was the one who wanted to go to a bar) but nooo. Lynn had a headache & Evo took one sip & decided she didn't want any more -_______- 

Meanwhile, Lynn decided she didn't want to go for the ride (because of her headache, I think?) so Evo went with  KFung instead.

Meanwhile, Jannah had arrived & I was trying to finish my drink as fast as I could. That wouldn't end too well, as you'll see later.

After we left, I started feeling a little dizzy, then this happened.

Yeaaaaaah.

Split up with KFung afterwards & us girls went to Haji Lane for dinner! (& if we were lucky, for Lynn to spot HG) ;) As usual, we stopped along the way for pictures!

Had dinner at Eazy Eazy Kitchen. Food was so-so, but their waffles were yummmm!

It was a bit dark so Lynn used her flashlight for lighting while I snapped away HAHAHA :P

Left for home (ie hotel) after searching for dessert parlours, which were closed by the time we were done. Back at the hotel, we had a really weird encounter with a couple in the lift. They were acting really suspicious, which kinda creeped us out. 

Stayed up talking, listening to music & singing along. Jannah fell asleep first, and the rest of us followed suit after.
