last uh, thursday, pn marina announced that sunway university college was having a public speaking competition. the prizes were:

1st place : rm 8000

2nd place : rm 6000

3rd place : rm 4000

3 consolation prizes : rm 2000

so, i joined. actually, i just wanted the cert from "SUNWAY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE" :O
getting first prize would be awesum though :)

so today, we had tryouts cause only 2 people from each sch would be chosen. my turn was 4th, and i was FRIGGING NERVOUS.
1. cause there were only 2 form 4s, me and hazwan. thus, nobody to encourage me! HMPH TO YOU GUYS who CAME FOR DRAMA PRACTICE BUT DIDN'T EVEN COME FIND ME ! D:
2. cause MR MARIO GRUBER sorta yelled when it came to my turn -.-
3. cause my voice became serak :(

my hands were shaking, my feet were shaking, i forgot my lines, and everything that has to do with stage fright just CAME FLOODING BACK T_T

oh well, i don't know if i did okay, but teacher (thamil selvi) was okay about it. she was like "you nervous is it?" -.- HECK YEAH I WAS -.-

looked at teacher's paper after that. i got a star next to my name :) which means i'm in the top 6 -.- pfft, there were 10 competitors! ;D
there'll be another round, impromptu round. doubt that i'll make it though, up against TOUGH competition: hazwan, aqil, mario, mikhail, sharanya and dayana.

sigh. i'll just try my best and see if i get in :)

i got another buck from leek today. ustad azka passed evo and i his sijils and stuffs for passing his wira alam thingy tahap 2. heh. so evo took his stuff, i took his sijil. and we both asked him for A BUCK ;D
